Meet Carol Ann
Carol Ann thrives on connection, community, and creating positive change. She is a swim coach for a local YMCA team, where she enjoys helping young athletes build skill, confidence, and resilience. In addition to coaching, she volunteers with two nonprofit organizations, one focused on reducing the stigma surrounding substance misuse and mental health disorders, and another advocating for and providing resources to support perinatal mental health.
Her chosen family includes an amazingly supportive husband who encourages her to do all the things, and their two wonderful but feral daughters who keep life fun and meaningful.
Whether she’s on the pool deck, collaborating with nonprofits, or spending time with her people, Carol Ann is passionate about advocacy, education, and creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered.

About Carol Ann
To be honest, I'm a bit quirky and enjoy being myself, both professionally and personally. I've worked really hard to be the person I am today and staying true to this is the greatest gift I can give myself. I believe life is too short to always be serious. Don't get me wrong, I understand when to be serious, but I also recognize the moments to step back and say, "Hey, you're doing great, even if it feels like you're constantly facing setbacks."
My ideal client is someone who is open to feedback and eager to try new approaches or suggestions. This flexibility is key to making real progress in our sessions. I like to keep our sessions conversational. This relaxed, dialogue-based style helps me get to know you better and spot any patterns as we go. It also creates a comfortable space where you can talk about even the toughest topics. I aim to keep things informal so you feel at comfortable being yourself. I'm straightforward with my feedback, ensuring you get clear and honest insights. I also like to use humor to lighten the mood and make our sessions more enjoyable. Our conversations will feel natural, allowing us to connect on a deeper level.I'll provide constructive feedback and encourage you to try new strategies for your challenges. Together, we'll work towards your goals and explore new perspectives to help you better understand yourself and your experiences.
